Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - Most Pure Heart of Mary & St. Matthew

This is a distinct approach to catechesis, in which children build deep, lifelong relationships with Christ and His Church with hands-on materials based on Scripture and the Liturgy. We believe that God has a special and unique relationship with each of his children. This relationship is fostered in the unique environment of the atrium where our students can reflect and meditate on God's great power and love. Our preschool, kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students are blessed with the infusion of this program during their school day

Celebrating All Saints Day - All our grade schools

All 5 grades schools get the opportunity to learn more about their favorite saint! They are asked to do a report, dress up as their saint, or design a shield representing their saint, and lead a procession at All Saints day mass. The costumes and shields are amazing and the knowledge they gain discussing the different saints will always be memorable for theml!

Praying the Rosary - All grades and all our schools

Twice a year, our schools take time out of the day to pray the rosary together with our entire school communities.

ProLife Rally at the Kansas State Capitol

Every year our high school students and some of our 7th and 8th grade students participate in the Kansas March for Life in the month of January, which coincides with the big March for Life rally in Washington D.C. Our students share the truth concerning the greatest human rights violation of our time.

Bible Buddies - St. Matthew

Each of our grades have a "buddy class," and they get together at least once a quarter to build relationships and celebrate feast days.

May Crowning - Mater Dei

Our young students celebrate our Mother in the month of May.

Book Character Parade - Most Pure Heart of Mary

Our lower level grade school students get the opportunity to bring their favorite book to life! What a great way to show the importance in reading!
